Nicholas David TROMBLEY Obituary

News Death Notice

TROMBLEY, Nicholas David Age 34, of Springboro, passed away June 26th, 2013. A devoted husband and father, beloved son, brother, and friend, he was born December 4th, 1978 to David and Carol Trombley. He was the second of their four children. Nick was born in Miami, Florida, but grew up in Centerville, Ohio. He attended Incarnation and completed high school at Archbishop Alter. He was an excellent student and athlete. Since childhood he loved spending time in Michigan visiting his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 2002 with a degree in chemical engineering. Since graduation he has been employed at DuPont chemical in Dayton and was well respected for his quiet and conscientious work ethic. In 2003 he married his college sweetheart Christine. They were a perfect match; a uniquely devoted couple. They were blessed by 2 wonderful children, both of whom adored their daddy. He was an extremely attentive and tender father. Nick loved to spend time outdoors. He was an avid runner who finished 2 marathons, and recently started competing in triathlons. He also loved to spend time with friends and neighbors: whether bowling, playing cards, surfing, or hosting cook outs and parties. Pensive and joyful, he had a quiet yet playful nature. He was extremely well liked. Those lucky enough to spend time with him know they were not blessed with nearly enough of it. Nick is survived by his wife Christine; his children Molly and Bryce; his siblings Michael (Carmen Meier) of Cincinnati, Michele (Chris Comer) of Palm City, FL, and Daniel (Michele) of Washington, DC; his seven nieces and nephews; his parents David and Carol; his grandparents John and Theodora Sullivan and Ed and Donna Trombley, his in-laws David and Barbara Halpin; his brother-in-law Matthew (Stephanie Thomas) Halpin of West Windsor, NJ; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Nick Trombley Memorial Fund at any branch of US Bank or on line at nicktrombleyfund@gmail.com. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2nd, at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM at The Church of the Incarnation on Wednesday, July 3rd. Condolences may be made to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com
