CLAY, Reverend Thomas age 76, of Dayton went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. He was born on July 7, 1936 in Pennington, Mississippi to Louise Troupe and Edward Clay. He Organized and Pastored Pleasant Green MBC in Dayton, OH, Spirit Of Peace MBC in Dayton, OH, and New Fellowship MBC in Dayton, Ohio until his demise and Pastored Mt. Zion MBC in Marion, OH. He is preceded in death by; his parents, Louise Troupe and Edward Clay, (3) children, Stanley Flowers, Willie Charles Moore, Jr., and Ida Marie; and (1) grand-son, Dameon Wesley. He leaves to cherish fond memories; his loving and devoted wife, Mattie Mae Clay; (5) children, Mary Anne McDonald, Vanessa (Joe) Harris, Octavia Louise Clay, Thomas (Shayla) Clay Jr. and Danell McDougal (God-Daughter); (10) grandchildren; (15) great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 1:00 P.M., FRIDAY, July 12, 2013 at PLEASANT GREEN MBC, 5301 Olive Rd. Reverend Robert Thornton, Presiding, with Reverend Lavon Mann, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Shiloh Park Cemetery.
