STEVENS, Shirley Ann age 73, of Dayton, departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Edna and Robert Hayes Sr. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School, class of 1958. She is preceded in death by Husband, Ricky Young; sister, Elizabeth Powell; brother, Eddie Hayes; son, Gregory Edwards and a grandson, Gregory Monie. She leaves to cherish her memory; sons, Darryl (Sheri) Edwards, Richard and Kevin Stevens; Daughters: Twila (Amzie Smith), Tonya and Teresa Stevens; Grandchildren: Nakisha, Danielle, Cedric, Dinah, China, Antoine, Tracey, Adrian, Shirelle, Twila, and Latrell; Great grandchildren: Jehwaun Jr., Kiy'waun, La'shya, Paris, Jayden, Ariah, Jaeden, Twaniqua, London, Iyanna, Brandon, and Daylan; great-great grandchild, Jehwaun III; Sister, Edna Hayes; brother, Robert Hayes Jr.; brother-in-law, Arthur Powell Sr.; Daughter-in-law, Diane Edwards; Sons-in-law, Cedric Monie Sr. and Roland Garrett; Special Daughters, Annie Zuk and Judy Moore; special granddaughter, Malika Owings and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends that are too numerous to mention. Funeral Services 1:00 P.M. SATURDAY, February 8, 2014 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Reverend Karen Fox, officiating. Viewing will be held 11:00 A.M.
