BRUMBAUGH, Pauline M. (Moist) age 97, of Dayton, OH, died peacefully with her loving family by her side, Saturday, March 1, 2014. Pauline was born August 7, 1916 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Arthur and Edith (Stoner) Moist. She was a member of Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was a member of the Sewing Circle. Pauline was a woman of strong faith and Godly character. She was a homemaker, cook at O.R. Edgington School, Head Cook at Northmoor Elementary School for 25 years and worked at Rike's Bakery for 3 summers. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Pauline is survived by 3 daughters, Beth (Jack) Gantz, Carol Hostetter and Joyce (Stuart) Patterson; 7 grandchildren, Tylene (Jeff) Baldwin, Colette (Doug) Mills, Chad (Alicia) Gantz, Ashley (Andy) Spicher, Allyson (Vu) Musili, Travis (Shari) Ketron and Lance (Nikki) Ketron; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ruth Wenger and Alberta Cheesman; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Brumbaugh; sister, Verna (Edgar) Dohner; cousin, Rosalind Moist; 2 brother-in-laws, Byron Wenger and John Cheesman. A Celebration of Pauline's Life will be held 10 AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Fairview Brethren in Christ Church, 750 Union Blvd., Englewood, OH 45322, Pastor Sam Hollingsworth officiating. Interment Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6-8 PM Friday, March 7, 2014 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415.
