MULLINS, Linda (Brandenburg) Flannagan 69, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 4, 2014. She was born Sept. 12, 1944 in Dayton to Hazel (Amburgy) and Omer Brandenburg. Linda was a nurturing and devoted caregiver, enthusiastic organizer, and determined leader. She was a hair stylist at Joy-Lyn Hair Designs in Lebanon for over 20 years. Since 1993, she has had a successful career as a realtor for Henkle-Schueler Realtors. Linda was also a talented artist who painted with oil and water. Many people treasure her paintings in their homes and businesses around the area. She has enjoyed her role as a pastor's wife in recent years, organizing activities and projects. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Willis "Bud" Brandenburg and Edward Brandenburg, and first husband Michael Flannagan. Linda is survived by her second husband Doyce "Butch" Mullins, two daughters Holly Neal (Steve) of Springboro, Amy Tolson (Brent) of Somerville, one son Bryan Flannagan (Andrea) of Middletown, twelve grandchildren Alissa Neal, Lindsay Beals (Chris), Emily and Julia Neal, Madison and Makenzie Tolson, Emma and Brennan Flannagan, Katrina, Mary, Darby and Donovan Mullins, two great-granddaughters, one sister Francis Hembree and one brother William Brandenburg. The family will receive friends Monday March 10 from 4-7 pm at Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, 3023 North Union Rd., Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Dr. Lynn Gordon officiating. Graveside service Tuesday 10:00 am at Grace Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chris Beals officiating.
