News Death Notice
MITCHELL, Judge Bush P. age 92, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away March 23, 2014. Born November 18, 1921 in Lexington, Kentucky, later, his parents moved to Columbus, Ohio, where Judge Mitchell embarked on an ambitious and lifetime educational career. He began his life work after completing a tour in the Armed Forces and immediately plunged himself into an aggressive career in the Legal Profession. He graduated from Franklin University, 1947, Capital University 1951 L.L.B., Capital University Jurist Doctorate, 1966, and admitted to Ohio Bar August, 1951. His private practice ran a span of 19 years. His career took him into the Dayton Municipal Court as Judge for 10 years where he was formerly Presiding and Administrative Judge of Dayton Municipal Court. Preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory his wife of 33 years, Clotee Mitchell; children, Phillip (Jean) and Ronald Mitchell, both of Columbus, OH, Michelle (Michael) Brame of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Mark; a host of cousins and friends. Memorial service will be held 12 noon Friday, March 28, 2014 at McKinley United Methodist Church, 196 Hawthorn St. Pastor M. Merritt Worthen officiating. Calling hour 11 am at the church, at which time family will receive friends. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
