News Death Notice

SCHWAB, Paula Cannon 57, of Centerville, died Friday, March 21, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 15, 1957, the first of five children of Lea A. and the late John R. Cannon of Kettering. A graduate of Carroll High School (1975) and Miami University (1979), Paula served in several area communications posts and was a devoted mother and community volunteer who is credited with a strong fashion sense that she displayed most recently while an Assistant Manager at the Gap. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Alan Schwab, children AJ and Michelle, and siblings Jacquelyn Otto of Beavercreek, Alison Harig of Monroe, Mark Cannon of Washington, DC and Tom Cannon of Troutman, NC along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial tribute (casual attire) will be held Saturday, April 5, at 2 pm at Patterson Homestead (1815 Brown St, Dayton, OH 45409). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paula's honor to www.hospiceofdayton.org.
