News Death Notice

GROSS, Margaret A. "Margie" (Dwyer) age 78 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 12, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Estella and William Dwyer of Dayton and the widow of David Warren Gross. Margie is survived by her son, David William Gross of Fairborn; two sisters, Paula (Larry) Lamaina of Ocean City, NJ, Mary (Gordon) Pearson of Virginia Beach, VA; and her only brother, Denis (Lillian) Dwyer of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by her Aunt Mae and Aunt Corie; brother-in-law, Roland (Sharon) Gross of Fairborn; sister-in-law, Sandy Marano of Fairborn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that are scattered over many states. The family will always be grateful to her special niece, Jenni Hoag, who took care of Margie during her illness. We would also like to thank the staff of Samara at Summit at Park Hills and Hospice of Dayton for the loving care they provided to Margie. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 17, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 at 10:00 A.M., Deacon Max Roadruck officiating. She will be laid to rest in Byron Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at
