ROTH, Thomas J. Age 90 of Brookville, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014. He retired from Frigidaire with more than 31 years of service and also worked at Aero Products for 10 years. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He was a founding member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post # 619 in Dayton. Tom loved Family, Friends and Fishing. He is survived by his wife of 67 years: Esther (Bensman) Roth, daughter: Patricia (Charles) Lewis of Brookville, sons: James (Eileen) Roth of Rochester, NY, Jeffrey (Wilma) Roth of Huntsville, AL, Jack (Cindy) Roth of Harrison, TN, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Loretta (Burgmeier) Roth, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lakeview of Brookhaven and Hospice of Dayton for the loving care given to Tom. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church (1000 W. Wenger Road, Englewood) with Fr. Jim Seibert, C.P.P.S. as celebrant. Entombment will follow the Mass at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Brookville. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. Prior to the visitation, the Rosary will be said at 9:15 a.m. in the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or Hospice of Dayton.
