News Death Notice

WARRICK, Treva Mae age 87, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Sycamore Glen Health Center. She was born on May 24, 1926 in Brookville, Ohio to the late, Ross and Florence (Hoke) Overholser. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Don Warrick; son, James Warrick; daughter, Kathy Cox; sisters, Dewene Rickard, Louella Fondersmith, Betty Stalder and brother, Dale Overholser. Treva is survived by her children, Patt (Randy) Morgan of Springboro and Eddie (Carole) Warrick of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Alisha (Steve) Barton, Trisha (Kent) Galloway, Dawn (Mike) Warrick-Hout, Kara Cox, Bryan (Michelle) Preston, Lenna (Jeremy) Jarrett, Christy (Jason) Bertolo, Scott (Alexis) Warrick, Ross Warrick, Chris Warrick; great-grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Megan Davis, Matt Barton, Samantha Galloway, Jenna Galloway, Jared Galloway, Braden Preston, Kendal Preston, Augie Bertolo, Addie Mae Bertolo; daughter-in-law, Vicki Warrick and many other extended family and friends. Treva worked at Monsanto as a purchasing agent for over 26 years and had been a longtime member of Ridgeville Community Church. She was involved with the Merry Miler's Walking Group, volunteered at the Miamisburg Senior Adult Center, Miamisburg Moose Lodge and was a lifelong member with the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post #165 and the color guard. Friends and family may visit from 2-4 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 4pm with Pastor Joe Schutts officiating. Treva will be laid to rest at a later date at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley, 46 North Detroit St. Suite #B, Xenia, Ohio 45385, in memory of Treva.
