DEWS, Mrs. Callie Delilah Banks age 86 was born on April 28, 1928 to Elizabeth and Stewart Jones in Majestic, Kentucky. She attended Thacker Mines West Virginia School and retired from Montgomery County Jobs and Family Services as a Home Maker. In 1966 she became a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and remained a faithful servant for more than 47 years. Callie transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on August 20, 2014. She is preceded in death by; her parents, Elizabeth and Stewart Jones; husband, James Henry; sister, Frances Richardson; brother, Harry Banks; and great granddaughter, Jade Lowery. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy; (5) loving and devoted daughters, Elizabeth Bekay Carson, Erin "Lavern" Hart (Derald), Judy A. Dews, Danette C. Dews and Denise Dews and (4) sons, James Banks, Henry Juan Dews (Arnetta), Jarrette A. Dews (Kathy) and Kelvin X. Dews; special daughter, Debra Ramos; grandchildren, Debbie, Rhonda, Cheryl, James, Gerrard, Kelvin, LaShay, Tomicka, Sonya, Jarrette, Delilah, Rashanna, Juanita, Starr, Johnathan, Harry, Victoria, Davian, Callie, Cassie, Felicia, Melinda, Jeri and Quincy; great- grandchildren; special friend, Margaret Spearman; other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 1 Diamond Avenue, Dayton, Ohio with Pastor K. Edwin Bryant, officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Jeffersonview Cemetery.
