News Death Notice
BONDROWSKI, Irene M. (Taraskiewicz) age 78, passed away September 19, 2014 at home in Englewood, OH. Born August 2, 1936 in Norwich, CT, she was the youngest daughter of Stanley and Aniela (Stankiewicz) Taraskiewicz. Irene was a long-term resident of Meriden, CT. She was pre-deceased by her parents; her brother Stanley Taraskiewicz, her sister Trudy Horelick; her sister Teresa Onuparik; and her husband, Joseph Bondrowski. She is survived by her daughters, Veronica (Craig) Showalter of Englewood, OH and Theresa (John) Urbanovitch of Paxton, MA; five grandchildren Irene (Brian) Menard, Michelle Finnimore, Christopher Finnimore, David Showalter and Erica Showalter; her brother Ted Taraskiewicz; four great-grandchildren; two nieces and five nephews. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, September 24 at Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00pm. An additional Memorial Service will be held in Worcester, MA on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. I remember Cioci Renee when our families would take turns hosting various holidays. And my mom had to make the lemon cake. Our moms must be giggling together in heaven now!
