I received word that Pat was a fraternity brother of mine at Parks College. I graduated in 1964 some ten years after Pat left Parks. I have attended several Zigma reunions over the years and from meeting many brothers I never knew we all had one thing in common and that is we pledged Zigma and we all had a common bond. I know Pat would of enjoyed our reunions and someday we'll all be together and share our lives over a large keg of beer.

Marianne, I was so saddened to hear of Pat's passing. He was such an inspiration to all of us at the Family History Center. It seemed he was an expert on any genealogical topic. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be there for the funeral. I send you hugs and God's blessings.

I too wish I could be there for the funeral, celebrating the life of such a truly amazing man. Aunt Marianne, you and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Uncle Pat was always there for me providing advice and mentorship. I credit him with helping me make the decisions that have gotten me to where I am at today, so I know he truly understands my absence. We shared a love of history and guns, and I only wish I were half as worldly, crafty, and intelligent as he. He truly was a man's man.
One is already in the album, so I have attached another of my favorite pictures with Uncle Pat. Even though it's hard to see, I can tell that's he's smiling, just like he's smiling now, upon all of us.
May your soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen.

I first met Pat when he and Marianne moved in next door in 1976. We hit it off and friends right from the start. I will greatly miss his ability to grasp any situation and come forth with an answer of how to fix that situation.
We in the Tara Gourmet Club of 33 years, have lost a dear friend who will be greatly missed from those gatherings.

To Marianne and family - It is with deepest sympathy I offer my condolences to all of you. The Family History Center in Fairborn has long benefited from Pat's expertise and willingness to do whatever needed to be done. I shall miss, as I already have, talking with Pat and sharing ancestral discoveries. The help he provided me with my Irish genealogy is one of those "gifts from God" he provided to so many, many genealogists. May he rest in the peace of the Lord. Helen Steele Lehman

I worked with Pat for 20 of his years at the Family History Center. Oh how he will be missed. He had such a wealth of knowledge, not to mention such GREAT stories. We have missed him since his retirement. More importantly, I have lost a caring friend. My deepest condolences.

I wish that I could be there for the funeral. I'll be thinking of Uncle Pat and our family nonetheless.
I will miss him deeply. For many years he has been my trusted advisor on all things from asthma to retirement planning. He had stories from his long Air Force career that I always enjoyed hearing. And he could fix or fabricate just about anything. His passing will leave a hole in our lives that will never quite heal.
Be at peace, Uncle Pat. And say 'hi' to my Dad for me.
