News Death Notice
DEAVEN, Ellen M. Age 97 of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Deaven, former pastor of Brookville U.M. Church; son, John Deaven; as well as her daughter in law, Nancy T. Deaven. Ellen is survived by her daughter and son in law, Sandra and Emil Reck of Germany; grandchildren, Peggy Sue (Deaven) Smiltnieks, Joseph Deaven, Stephanie Sepassi, Markus Reck; 5 grandchildren; special niece and nephew Frank and Joanne Smith as well as other numerous nieces and nephews. Ellen was a longtime employee of the Brookville National Bank. A graveside service will be held at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery on Tuesday, April 21 at 1pm.
