News Death Notice
BALES, Marie T. 76, of New Lebanon, OH, passed away Friday morning, July 24, 2015. Born December 15, 1938 in Rocky Branch, KY, she was a daughter of the late Orville & Florence (Stephens) Burton. She had worked 25 years at Findley Industries and 7 years for Sugar Creek Packing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death on May 22, 2010 by husband Robert E. Bales, whom she married December 24, 1963. Marie's family was everything to her. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survived by daughters Jackie (John) Leggett of Troy, OH and Jan (Jeff) Smith of New Lebanon: grandchildren Erica (Brad) Simcoe, Joshua Delver, Olivia Delver, Dakota (Mariah) Delver and Shelby (Matt) Walker: great grandchildren Bryson Aaron Delver, Josephine Olivia Simcoe and baby girl Simcoe on the way: sisters Ruby DeAnthony of Centerville, OH and Effie Westerman of Middletown, OH: nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 - 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Trent Smith presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assn. Sharing of online memories and condolences at www.rlcfc.com. Burial Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
