News Death Notice
SAMPSON, Charlene Ellen Age 63 of Brookville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Charlene was a generous soul and wickedly funny. She loved her cats, all things JFK, Abe Lincoln, Edgar Allen Poe and Peewee Herman. She was a gifted gardener and shared that talent through the landscape business she and her husband started together. She will be deeply missed by her husband J.R., son Michael Denney, sisters Becky and MaryEllen, brother Phillip and mother Helen, in addition to her granddaughters, special nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn and her father Richard. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 15 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. There will be an open house from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at J.R.'s house. Light refreshments will be served.
