COTTRELL, Lee E. age 82 of Dayton, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008. He retired from GM and was the Owner and Operator of the Great Northwest Bus Line. Lee was a US WWII P.O.W. Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was also a Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts of American, the Great Northwest Council where he received the Silver Beaver Award. He was a member of John Durst Lodge # 716 F. & A.M. and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. Preceded in death by his wife Anna Lucille Cottrell in 1992, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Survived by 2 daughters Linda (Rick) Cottrell- Kinzeler of Jamestown, Lana (Larry) Hamby of Dayton, son Lloyd (Joanne) Cottrell of Englewood, 4 grandchildren Chris (Shelly) Kinzeler, Jesse Lee Rogers, Lindsay Cottrell-Kinzeler, Hailee Ann Cottrell, 4 great grandchildren Chase, Mikayla, Lauren and LeeLand, 2 sisters Pauline Sergent and Maggie Hipp. Lee will be remembered loving his family and his country. Services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association in Lees memory.
