Ryan, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your mom. Although I only knew her for a few months, in that time, I realized that she really loved her children and wanted the best for all of you. Know that we (your teachers and classmates) are here for you and everyone misses you. Take care of yourself and we hope to see you soon!

Trisha and family,
I only got to know you breifly due to circumstances beyound anyone's control
I do remember, at your Great Grandparent's 50th wedding aniversary party, We had a "5 generation" picture taken with you just a baby (I think you were actually a toddler).
I believe that was the only time I was able to see you.
Your mother and I wrote back and forth briefly, but when that ended, I had no more contact with your mom and you.
It's too bad the way it turned out--I would have loved to see and know you better.
My heart and prayers go out to your babies, and mother. I know they are full of sorrow and broken hearts at your leaving this world so early.
To your mom and babies--Take care and God bless you!!
I was your aunt, Pat (Kinler) Kirk

To the Roush children,
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. What I remember the most about your mom is that she never hesitated to come to school (Allen) when you children needed her. Although she is gone physically, she will remain in your hearts forever.

Words can never express the pain of losing a child and not just one but two. Even though time and circumstances separated us physically the hearts of a father and daughter never stray far from each other. I thought of her often and talked about her everyday hoping we would find each other and pick up where we left off. my heart is filled with sorrow for not being able to do this now, but i am comforted in knowing that she thought of her dad to and wanted to meet me and her family here. I believe that she and my son James Jr. are together in heaven and look forward to the day when there will be no more tears and nothing will separate my family again. Please pray for my wife and i and our children as we mourn the loss of our daughter, and sister. forever in my heart and thoughts, your dad James R. Kinler Sr.

To the Roush children:
I can't even begin to truly imagine how you are feeling. Being someone who knew your mother I can say she was a hard working parent who only wanted the best for you all. She would come to the school and supported your education. As you go forth in this world with her in your heart, just know she looking over you and you represent her memory. Josh and Ryan you both have sat in my classroom and I know you have what it takes to be a great success! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Like many others have written, I too knew Trisha from school. I never got a chance to hang out with her, but she was always nice to me. Years after we graduated, I saw her with our kids at school (Allen) and she hadn't changed one bit. She was still very kind and very involved with her children. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.

Trish, I can’t believe what happened. Although, it’s been a long time I can’t image never talking to you again. You and I were inseparable and had many many good times. I will never forget our letters, our long talks, breaking the rules, having fun, tears we shared, or our deepest friendship. Together we were one. I am so sorry that so much time slipped away from us. Nobody understood me like you and we shared everything, no secrets. I’m going to miss you so much and my heart is so sad but nothing can take away the memories. God bless you and your entire family.
I love you… your best friend

To the family of Trisha, she was my stepsister. I have only one memory of her as a child and we were in the backseat of a car eating ice cream cones. Other than that I only have pictures to remeber her by. I also just lost my baby brother to a fatal car accident and even though she and I didn't keep in touch I am truly saddened by this and am grieving the lost of two siblings. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with your children and your mother Trisha. I wish I had been able to get to you know you better - we'd only worked together such a short time. But I remember your sweet smile, your quiet ways, and your demure demeanor when I visited with you in April of 2008. I cannot imagine the loss your family is experiencing, but I know you are watching over them and will bring them comfort in time. God Bless!

I don't know you and your family personally, but as a mother of five and a grandma of one, my tears still fall and I understand the pain your family is going through. Our kids might still play ball together some day...who knows. I feel the whole Dayton area is most certainly praying for all who are in pain from this tragedy. May God bless all of you in your time of sorrow. I will pray for you and your family at church today. And I will pay my respects on Tuesday. " Dear God please take Trisha's family into your arms and shower them with love. Please give them the strength they need to take that next step everyday on their journey through life. Please guide and protect Trish's children and let their hearts be filled with love, forgiveness, comfort, and faith as they need each other now more than ever to comfort one another. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen." God Bless

Dearest Trish,
I loved you so much, you were one of my best friends. You always had my back no matter who my crazy love interests were. Regrettably I didn't work hard enough to keep in touch with you and I should have. Yes, it takes two to communicate, but somebody has to start right? Now I won't have that chance, but as someone very wise just pointed out to me (my 8yr old son)(and in light of this tragedy) that I can still speak to you through my heart. It won't be quite the same, I'll miss you terribly.

Ms. Shirley,

I remember Trish from school. When I came to Grafton Kennedy, she and I became really good friends in 3rd grade- Mrs. Lane's class. Through the next couple of years, I remember going to Hueston Woods every spring for her birthday...Les would pack up the van and we would all scramble in! As we got older, we would still say hi to one another, but never really did hang out. After graduation, we would see each other in passing, but didn't get a chance to get together. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.I will always remember the fun I had camping with her and the other girls. My heart just breaks for you and her children. May you find solace and comfort during your time of grief.

Just Call On Me

I can’t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength from above.

I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings--Amen.
