PIETRZAK, Doris Jean (nee Whiteted) age 77 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2009 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Pietrzak Sr.; son, Daniel Pietrzak; her parents, Zella and James Whiteted; brothers, James Jr., and Curt Whiteted; her Sister, Iona Jean Whiteted; and many members of the Pietrzak and Whiteted Families. Doris is survived by her Brother, Jack (Barbara) Whiteted of Lady Lake, FL; Sons, Thomas S. Jr. (Mary) Pietrzak and Tim Pietrzak of Dayton; Daughter-in-law, Susan Pietrzak of Ocala, FL; Grandchildren: Jessica Pietrzak, Jill (Joe) Egbert, Christine (Matt) Sanderman, Gabe Pietrzak of South Africa, Maria Pietrzak of TN, Matthew Pietrzak of FL and Dan (Amy) Musik of New York; Great Grandchildren: Lydia Pietrzak and Jack Egbert; many other family members including John Smith, Ray and Fern Pietrzak, Betty Garwood, a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends from the Sherman, Brzozowski, Roesle, Kurpiel, Loscko, Kneer, Coddington, Gemza and Trezciak families. Doris was one of the first female Blue-Card Members of the Polish Club and spent many years working in the cafeteria at Chrysler. She was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church where she was active in BINGO. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009, from 6 to 8PM at the MAGETTI GAVIN FUNERAL HOME, 1508 Valley Street. A Prayer Service will be held 9:30AM Friday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Saint Adalbert Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
