News Death Notice
CHEATHAM, Joan M. age 83, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her residence. Joan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Denny; daughters & son-in-law, Peggy & Mike Kemler, Jane Conway all of FL; son, Clyde Conway of NJ; sister, Ann Gosner of NJ; brothers & sisters-in-law, Joe & Ann Noga, Stanley & Jerry Noga, & Bill Noga all of PA; sister-in-law, Helen Noga; brother-in-law, Bill Noga both of PA; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Bill & Karen Cheatham of FL; grandson, Chris Conway of NJ, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joan was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, North Main St. Chapel, 1706 North Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Odlin & Siebenthaler with Father Gary Aultz & Decon Jeff Hall celebrants. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Good Samaritan Hospital North and the heath care providers of Hospice of Dayton for the exceptional care they provided to Joan. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Joan's memory.

Denny, we're so sorry to hear of Joan's passing. She fought long and hard and is suffering no more. You've been a wonderful husband to her for many years; she loved you so much!! Take comfort in all the loving memories you two shared. You are in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy,

Denny, you told me you where going to retire to spend more time with Joan. I'm glad you that time special time together. Terri and I enjoyed Joan's quick whit and the understanding she had of the unusual hours and nature of your work. I'm sorry for your loss, Joan will be missed by many.
