BEIMLY, Fredrick M. "Fred" age 68 of Phoenix, AZ formerly of the Dayton area, passed away unexpectedly as the result of an accident on October 25, 2010 in Phoenix. He was born December 25, 1941 in Dayton, son of the late Rolla E. & Bessie I. (Weiser) Beimly. Fred was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Vandalia Lodge #742 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Arizona Lodge #2 F&AM, and the El Zaribah Shrine of Phoenix. Fred was a private pilot who loved to fly and flew with the Flying Fez Unit of the El Zaribah Shrine. Fred is survived by 3 brothers Doug (Lois) Beimly of FL, James (Cheryl) Beimly of Butler Twp., and John (Teresa) Beimly of Middletown and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday December 11 at 11:00am at the Vandalia United Methodist Church 200 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until time of services. Masonic Blue Lodge Services will be held prior to the Memorial Service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vandalia Masonic Lodge P.O. Box 103 Vandalia, OH 45377 or to the El Zaribah Shrine 552 N. 40th St. Phoenix, AZ 85008 attn. Transportation Unit in Fred's memory. Arrangements by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
