Dear Mrs. Crabtree,
My family and I would like to express our condolence on the loss of your husband. I never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Crabtree, but have heard many stories about him from my husband, Jacob Crabtree, his grandson. I know that Jacob would have liked to have known and spent more time with Mr. Crabtree. I also feel that Mr. Crabtree would have been proud of Jacob and his career choice of joining the United States Air Force. I would like to also say that I am truly sorry for our condolence being so late. May God Bless you and give you peace each and every day.

Dear Margie,
So sorry to hear about Uncle Virgil. You were both my favorite aunt and uncle and I loved him dearly. I'm so thankful I was able to see him a couple of weeks ago. You were both great friends to my parents and they enjoyed your company. May God comfort you in this difficult time and may God have a special place for Virgil in heaven, hopefully, next to his brother Harry, and the rest of his family.
With Sincere Sympathy,
Diane (Crabtree) Beaver

Dear Margie: Virgil has left Harlan and I so many wonderful memories of our Florida Days. Know that we wish we could be there to give you hugs, but we love you. God sure loves you for taking such good care of Virgil for many years, even when he didn't want to do as you said. Lots of funny stories connected with his lack of cooperation when it came to his health. You have been the one who was always there for many in the family, now it is your turn to be taken care of by them. You have great kids, give Ernie and Lynn our best. Our prayers are with you and for Virgil too. Now he is happy I am sure. Our love, Jane and Harlan
