News Death Notice
TANGEMAN, JAMES R. age 87 passed away, Sunday, September 16, 2012. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Aloysius, Richard and Ralph Tangeman; sisters: Betty Beal and Mary Ary; daughter-in-law, Kathy Tangeman and grandchildren: Emily, Jason and Anthony Tangeman. James is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mildred Tangeman; children: Sharon (Doug) Edginton, Linda (Bernie) Williams, Judy (Mark) Murlin, Bob Tangeman, Michael (Barbara) Tangeman, Tom (Martha) Tangeman and John (Vera) Tangeman; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. James was a past member of Senior Incorporated and a Veteran of the United States Navy. James' greatest love of all was spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held, Thursday, September 20th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 21st at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Centerville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Hithergreen Senior Center, 5900 Hithergreen Drive, Dayton 45429. www.westbrockfuneralhome.com
