HILES, Julius J. age 93 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013 in the Dayspring Health Care Center. He was born October 12, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Gordon and Anna (Beckman) Hiles. Jule served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army as military police in Tunisia, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany earning the Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Service Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 7 Bronze Stars and 1 Bronze Arrowhead. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Sibyl; two brothers, Robert and James; nephew, Jerome. Jule is survived by sister-in-law, Jean Hiles; niece, Jeanine (Scott) Clark; two nephews, Jeffrey Hiles and Gordon Hiles; great nephew, Anthony Hiles. The family will receive friends on Thursday March 7, 2013 from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd, Fairborn. Graveside service will be held Friday March 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Ave, Dayton, OH with military honors, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.
