SPARKS, Julie Leyes age 46 of Miamisburg, our beautiful mother, loving wife, wonderful sister and loyal friend went to be with her Heavenly Father September 24, 2013 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). She was born in Dayton, OH on April 28, 1967 to William & Beatrice (Wellman) Leyes. Preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Odell Sparks. Survived by her husband, Ronald O. Sparks and treasured children, Mary Jane, Carolyn & Simon. Also surviving are her mother-in-law, Marianna Bowlin (Gene-deceased) of West Carrollton, her sisters, Suzanne (James) Butler of Miami Township, Sara (John) Russell of Shoreview, MN, Laura (James) Bornhorst of Miamisburg, & Annabelle (Wayne) Clinger of Honolulu, HI, her brothers-in-law, Dalton (Pam) Sparks of Tempe, AZ & Kim (Paula) Hedgebeth of West Carrollton; sister-in-law, Gail (Dale) Craker of South Bend, IN; & 23 nieces & nephews. Julie is also survived by many friends who were a constant support during her illness. Julie graduated from Bishop Leibold elementary school, Alter High School 1985 & Xavier University 1989. Following a career in the nursing home industry, she found her true calling as a wife and mother. With a sunny disposition that would light up a room, her life was filled with love and compassion for others. She made each person she met feel special. Julie truly left the world a better place. The family will receive friends at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, MIAMISBURG on Friday September 27, 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg, Sat., Sept. 28, 10:30 am, internment at Calvary Cemetery.
