News Death Notice
SEALE, Theodore Albert "Ted" Funeral Services will be conducted for Theodore "Ted" Albert Seale, age 66, at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Evangeline Funeral Home. A eulogy will be given by nephew, Phillip Onellion. Musical selections will be sung by niece Skylar Robicheaux, accompanied on the guitar by nephew Dax Gaspard. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday. The funeral home will reopen at 10:00 am on Tuesday until service time. Ted a resident of Coteau was born May 31, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to Ray and Rosalyn Gyuszi Seale. He graduated in 1965 from Colonel White High School and also attended Wright State University. Ted was a Veteran of the US Air Force serving his country honorably during the Vietnam Era. After working several years for Chemineer in Dayton, Ted moved down to Louisiana and worked as a gas compressor mechanic in the oil industry, until retiring in early 2013. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing at the pond and tinkering with his old cars. He passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:05 am at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Mary Onellion Seale of Coteau, his son David Seale and wife Karen Gerac Seale of Youngsville; one sister, Janet Hooper and husband Wayne of Ft. Myers, FL; his godchild and niece Tammy Onellion Simon and husband Shatner; his godchild and niece Emily Onellion Boyer and husband Jared; his brothers-in-law, Sully Onellion and wife Brenda; Pat Onellion and wife Debbie and Tim Onellion; his sisters-in-law Janie Mizes, Judy Zimmerman and husband Bob and Mabel Onellion and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, his infant sister, Peggy Seale; his brother Tim Seale; his wife's parents, Sully and Mary Carstens Onellion, his brother-in-law and Vietnam buddy, Larry Onellion; his brothers-in-law Charles Onellion, Phillip Onellion and Frank Onellion; and his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Onellion, Barbara Walker and Paula Hicks.
