News Death Notice
STRINGFIELD, Barbara Ann age 69, of Kettering, OH passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lacey Stringfield in 2012 and also by her mother, Janet Kneiss Cobler. She is survived by 2 sons, Tony and Bub; 5 daughters, Tracy, Lisa, Tammy, Janet and Stella; 2 sisters, Vickie Cobler and Virginia; 2 brothers, Bob Evans and Rickie. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren. Barbara was a member of the Spring Valley Baptist Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014, from the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2928 Wilmington- Dayton Road, Bellbrook, OH with Pastor Darrell Messer officiating. Interment will follow in Byron Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2014. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com

When I first heard the news of Barb's passing I was sad.. Then I thought wow... what a reunion that must be... There is Lacey and other family waiting to usher her in. My Grandmother Grandfather and Dad with countless others are celebrating her presence. Like my Grandmother she dedicated her life to get to where she is at. Words can't describe the pain I feel for losing you, you were the best grandmother in the world. I will never forget the special bond we had and I will always remember what you told me :) I love you more than you will ever know ? & you will forever remain in my heart you are gone but you will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Grandma and enjoy your time with the Lord and your loving husband (My Grandfather) who I also love and miss dearly ? your hearts as one again and even tho mine is breaking cause I no longer have you two in my life I'm so happy that neither of you are no longer in pain and in a better place.
