Blanche PATTERSON Obituary
News Death Notice
PATTERSON, Blanche A. Age 96, of Dayton, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at The Suites at Walnut Creek. Blanche served as assistant secretary at Oak Creek United Church of Christ and Fairmont Presbyterian Church. She was a charter member at Oak Creek UCC and was very involved. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; sister, Phyllis Kesselring; brothers, Lowell Kesselring and Boyd Kesselring. Blanche is survived by her sons, Rev. J. Scott and wife, Karen of Westlake, OH and Jeff and wife, Nancy, of Centerville, OH; sister, Fay Harry, of Mashpee, MA; brothers, Bruce (Gae) Kesselring, of Uniontown, OH and Thomas Kesselring, of Akron, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer Carter, Jessi Ward, Joe Patterson, Jessica Terry, and Allison Haltom; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Reis Legacy Center Meyer - Boehmer Chapel, 6661 Clyo Rd., Centerville. Family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Thornville, Ohio. If desired, contributions may be made in Blanche's memory to Hospice of Dayton or The Suites at Walnut Creek. Words of encouragement may be sent to www.reislegacycenter.com.
