News Death Notice
BAKER, Judith E., "Judy" Age 75 of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Judy was a 1957 graduate of Julienne High School and a 1962 graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She worked at WPAFB, University of Dayton and Sinclair College. Judy was a life-long member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Survived by her husband of 50 years Dale , a son Chris (Angie) Baker, 5 grandchildren Reece, Rowan, Raegan, Riley, Rhett, a sister Bunny Kester, brother-in-law Tom Baker, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Judy was a four time National Judo Champion and a fourth degree black belt. She had a love and passion for animals and gardening. Mass of Christian Burial 12 noon Monday, December 22nd at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Forest Ave. by Father Jim Schutte. The family will receive friends Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Tenth Life P.O. I am shocked to hear of Judy's death! I only knew her through the Sinclair gym, but I always thought she seemed familiar--I never realized it was because of Corpus Christi (we grew up in Five Oaks, my father was the organist there, Ritter Werner). Judy was a fitness inspiration to all of us in the locker room at Sinclair! She will be missed.

What a shock. Have been out of touch for too many years. Husband Dale, an old running buddy...Judy, simply a good friend. Stupid how we wait so long to get back in touch. Good thoughts to Dale and Chris.
