I just learned of Dr. Wolffs passing...I had the honor and pleasure of working with him at GMH for 25yrs.,however we kept in touch after he moved to Ft. Meyers until after many years, he explained to me that he was no longer able to maintain correspondence. He was so very kind to everyone and so gentle with his patients., not to mention his quirky sense of humor that made everyone laugh. Susie might remember going to my mothers house in Lexington, Ky. when she was considering going to U.K. I will never forget this wonderful man, or OMW, as he would refer to himself. My heart and prayers are with you all!!!

It was my pleasure to work with Dr.Wolff in the OR 70's-90's. He was patient, kind, humorous and an excellent teacher and Surgeon. I'm sure on his arrival at Heaven's Gate he was ready with "There once was a man from..." with a twinkle in his eye and told them he was OMW. Thank You (Family) for sharing him with us. Jenny,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family on your loss. During this difficult time, I hope that you can also find strength in the good memories that you had with Doc and the times that you were able to enjoy his company while spending time with him in Florida and at the summer cabin. I know that you provided him great enjoyment during those times. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences go out to the family. I can only thank God that Dr. Wolff and Dr. Bailey were there for me 20 years ago. After I had become seriously ill, they performed surgery on me and saved my life. I'll never forget either one of them for helping me. Rest In Peace Sir!

One night the supervisor Marianne came to our very busy unit & said I had to get up here because Dr Wolff is yelling for help! And about that time the Dr came around the corner & said,"I was not yelling" & he had come to help us
