WILDER, Johnnie, Jr. age 56, of Dayton, went home to be with the LORD on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at his residence. A native of Dayton, he was an active member of the Residence Park Church of Christ, and sole founder and owner of the musical group, Heatwave, and Shalonda Productions (www.shalonda.com). Preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Wilder, Sr., and grandmother, Carrie B. Carter. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 38 years, Rosalyn E. Wilder; daughter, Carla S. (Reginal) Hawkins; loving mother, Lucille Wilder; brothers, Ernest (Janie) of Sacramento, CA, Keith (Linda) of Swany, GA, Gregory, & Gerald (Patricia) both of Dayton; aunts, Willie Lou Pernell, Dorothy (Maceo) Hamilton, & Lillian Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Service, 1:00 PM, Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Residence Park Church of Christ, 4328 Hoover Avenue, with Gerald Wilder officiating. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery. Viewing 9:00 AM until time of service. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM at the Church. Ceremonies entrusted to McLIN FUNERAL CHAPEL/NORTHERN HILLS, 2801 N. Gettysburg Avenue.
