News Death Notice
TAYLOR, Jasper A.C. Age 74, of Dayton, Ohio, transitioned from this life on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 to be in the presence of the Lord. Jasper was born on May 14, 1942 to the late A.C. Taylor and Claire Hardy in Ashland, Ala. He attended Ashland High School and retired from Inland, Division of General Motors as an assembler after more than 15 years. Jasper is also preceded in death by (3) sisters, Mildred Ward, Minnie Taylor and Lily Brown. He leaves to cherish fond memories and celebrate his legacy, (2) sons, Michael D. Taylor (Katrina) and Terry Atkins; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; (2) brothers, Bobby Taylor and Joe Taylor; former wife, mother of his (2) sons and friend, Jessie Taylor; special nephew, Ed Brown of Cleveland, Ohio; special niece, Brenda Walker; brother-in-law, Johnny Ward; best friend, Frank George; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., THURSDAY, August 18, 2016, at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Reverend Robert Jackson, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Jeffersonview Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com
