I worked as Maggie's aide for 8 years in a Title One Program at Kyle school.
I learned so much from her ...things which I am certain helped me professionally long after after she left Kyle. I went into the job not anticipating that Maggie and I would become friends. She never treated me as if I were "just an aide" and I always felt valued working with her. Every day was a pleasure and a privilege to work next to her. I can't believe that she is gone. This is really my first experience losing a friend. I'll miss her very much.
My condolences to ALL of you in the loss of a wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
