Funeral service for Barry Joe Brackin, 54, of Hatton, will be Monday, July 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Donald Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Delashaw and Bro. Milton Burks officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Service will be followed with a private family graveside service. Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2013, two hours prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Brackin was a member of Donald Baptist Church. He retired from International Paper as a Training Coordinator.

He was born on June 8, 1959, to Rayford Devon Brackin and Betty Jo Kerby Brackin in Colbert County. He died on July 12, 2013, in Moulton.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Terry Brackin; son, Luke Brackin, both of Hatton; daughter, Emily Brackin Terry (Josh); grandson, Eli Brackin, all of South Carolina; parents; brother, Mike Brackin (Kay), of Sheffield; and sister Beverly Shelton, of Moulton.

Pallbearers will be friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men's Sunday School Class of Donald Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes all donations to be made to a Good Samartian Account for Barry Joe Brackin at any Bank Independent location.
