Funeral for Rayburn Eugene Hill, 75, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Claborn officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at his residence. He was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Lawrence County to Wylie Herbert Hill and Bessie Noble Hill. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was also retired from the city of Decatur Electrical Department. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Elfriede Hill; two brothers, Harold Hill and Bobby Hill; and one sister, Dorthy Hill.
Survivors include one daughter, Angelika Hill of Portland, Ore.; two grandsons, Jeremy Sandusky and Jacob Sandusky; and three brothers, Herbert S. Hill of Temple, Texas, Jimmy D. Hill of Falkville, and Jerry E. Hill of Eva.
