Tuscumbia

Funeral for Walter Daniel Loosier, 63, of Tuscumbia will be Monday, October 26, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Roger Loosier officiating.
Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Loosier, who died Friday, October 23, 2009, was born November 3, 1945, in Lawrence County to Walter Loosier and Clara Yarbrough Loosier. He was a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Branam Loosier; two sons, Danny Loosier andwife, Sherry, of Moulton and Bobby Loosier and wife, Katrina, of Florence; four daughters, Kimberly Smith and husband, Mike, of Hatton, Jeanette Hall and husband, Mark, and Robyn Gann and husband, Richard, both of Hamilton, and Rendy Harper and husband, Rusty, of Muscle Shoals; two brothers, Roger Loosier and wife, Patricia, of Moulton and Tommy Loosier and wife, Tracy, of Town Creek; two sisters, Joyce Loosier of Town Creek and Deborah Pounders and husband, Joe, of Muscle Shoals; mother-in-law, Dot Owens of Tuscumbia; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Edwards, David Pierce, Jamie Crowden, Justin Crowden, Marlon Blankenship and Kyle Webb.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Parkinson Research Foundation or to The Michael J. Foxx Foundation.
