Jo Nell Williams Maxwell

Jo Nell Maxwell passed away February 16, 2014. She was born July 27, 1939, to Lucy Bell Sharp Williams and Henry Wesley Williams. Jo Nell graduated from Cotaco High School in 1957. Her husband of 55 years, John Wesley Maxwell, died in November of 2012. Jo Nell and Johnny had one child, Tambria Maxwell Biasco of Fleming Island, FL. Tami's family includes husband Tom, son Max, daughters Aubrey and Brandy, Aubrey's husband Andrew, and their children, Aayden and Ali. Jo Nell and Johnny left Decatur to be with Tami's family in October of 2012.
Jo Nell is survived by many loving friends and family including: Evie and John Campbell, Peg and Dick Biles, Sue and Jimmy Johnson, Linda Whisenant, June Maxwell, Mary Lane Maxwell Jones, Dewight Jones, Sally Williams, Gene and Maxell Chandler and all their families.
Rest in Peace: Jimmy Maurice and Sammie Blakeway Williams, D.D. Maxwell, Joyce and Joe Ramey Maxwell, Gene Whisenant, J.D. Williams, Johnny Kay Maxwell, Chris Jones and Tracey Smith Maxwell.
On Saturday February 22, the service will be led by Pastor Barry Sempsrott with music by Brenda Sharp and Lonnie Williams at Antioch Methodist Church in Somerville. Visitation 10:30 am, service 11:30 am. Burial at noon. Jo Nell's sister's sons and grandsons will serve as ushers and pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you support Grace River Community Church or Antioch Methodist Church with your memorial contributions.
