Trinity

Funeral for Larry Stanley Allen, 64, of Trinity will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Wally Blackman officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Allen, who died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home, was born February 17, 1950, in Lawrence County to the late Loyal and Hazel Allen. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from 3M. He enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Allen; one son, Larry Shane Allen; one daughter, Jamie Cockrell; five grandchildren, Jonathan Allen, Amber Allen, McKinzie Allen, Emily Allen and Ethan Cockrell; two great-grandchildren, Preston McCoy and Jacob Allen; three brothers, Cecil Allen, Grady Allen and Jack Allen; and two sisters, Regina Green and Rachel Cantrell.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Shane Allen, Corey Greene, Greg Greene, Lindon Allen, David Cantrell and Rodney Allen.
