Don Breault, 86, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014.
Don worked for General Chemical for 33 years, retiring in the late 1980s and then worked for Delle Donne & Associates for 19 years, retiring in 2006.
He was an Army veteran of WWII, served in Germany. Don was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. He was a member of Peniel United Methodist Church. Don enjoyed fishing, bowling, boxing and his beloved Keeshond dogs.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Taylor in 1993. Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara; children, Jim Breault, daughter, Nancy (Mike) Tuell and son, Donald Breault; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME 212 EAST JUSTIS STREET, NEWPORT DE 19804. Private services and burial will be held at a later time. The family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 2306 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilmington DE 19805 or American Diabetes Association, 100 West Tenth Street, Ste. 1002, Wilmngton DE 19801 or Season's Hospice, 220 Continental Dr., Ste 101 Newark, DE 19713.
