Steven P. Del Collo
Age 53, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on February 8, 2013 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Steven was born in Wilmington, DE to Elizabeth and Michael D.Del Collo. He was a 1977 graduate of Brandywine High School. Steven owned and operated Del Collo Lawn and Landscape for over 20 years. He enjoyed gardening, golf, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pamela Del Collo, his children, Daniel Steven and Kelsey Elizabeth Del Collo, his parents, Elizabeth and Michael D. Del Collo, his siblings, Michael P. Del Collo (Jo Ann), Debra L. O'Hara ( Jack), Edward P. Del Collo ( Linda), Thomas J. Del Collo, Kathleen M. Camacho, Ann Marie Del Collo, Charles J. Del Collo ( Amy) and 12 nieces and nephews.
A gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike (Rt. 202 South of Silverside Road), Wilm., DE 19803. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, WIlm., DE 19810.
