Gorman
Age 43, of Frederica, DE, went to heaven on Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
Jim was born in Lima, PA on November 30, 1969 to William D. Gorman, Jr. and the late Patricia A. Gorman. Jim is a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA. Jim was a cook for Bob Evans and in 2006 he and his family relocated to Frederica, DE where Jim became First Mate of the Trade Winds III. Jim was passionate about fishing and an active member of the Bowers fishing community. He loved to play pool, participate in the APA Pool league and watch football.
Jim was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and a great friend to many. Jim leaves behind his wife Marjorie J. Gorman of 23 years, his father William D. Gorman, Jr., of Kennett Square, PA, his sister Patricia A. Zindel, of East Fallowfield, PA, his brother William D. Gorman III, of Lincoln University, PA, his daughters Amanda J. Gorman and Elizabeth A. Gorman, both of Harrington, DE, Brianna M. Gorman, of Frederica, DE and his beloved dog Rubin.
A service in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 6 pm at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division Street, Dover DE 19904.

I only knew Jim for 1 year since moving from PA. Jim was a trustworthy friend whom kept an eye on our house during our road trips, the only one I EVER left my house keys with. I only regret our short lived friendship. Going to miss him.

I will miss all the good times and all the laughs. Jim meant a great deal not only to me, but my family as well. Jim would always bend over backwards for anyone of his friends. Gonna miss ya big time timmy Jim. Now he can be an angel to the rest of his family, by trade.
