Irene A. Baich
Irene A. Baich, age 79, of West Grove, PA, formerly of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27, 2013.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Mary Romatowski and stepfather Vincent Romatowski. Irene was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Peter Baich.
Irene was a welder at Reynolds Springs and a cook at Louviers. She cared for her husband for 14 years after his stroke, and still managed to thoroughly enjoy their lives together. Irene loved gardening, cooking, and being around family, especially her grandchildren, of whom she was very proud. She also dearly loved all animals and always had a pet or two in her home.
Irene is survived by her 2 daughters, Terry Hoffman and Diane Arcidiacono, her son in law Joe Arcidiacono, granddaughter Julia Arcidiacono and grandson Ethan Hoffman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and one sister in law.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Rd., Newark, DE. Interment will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Delaware Veterans Administration, or to any charity that rescues and cares for animals.

Dear Terry, Diane and family, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mom was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and friend. Her family was everything to her, She loved you all so much! I have so many fond memories of her. Please let me know if there is anything that you need.
