Amelia (Sack) White
Amelia White passed away at Cokesbury Village on Wednesday March 19, 2014. Amelia, "Mimi" to her friends, was the last of six children born to Florence and Peter Sack in Sayreville, NJ in 1923.
She married Courtland K. White, Jr. in 1944. This union began a long life of living in foreign countries and throughout the U.S. with three daughters; Chris, Daryl and Kathy in tow, yet managed all with grace and humor.
Her family would like to thank Cokesbury Health Care for their professional, dedicated and compassionate care and Home Instead and Vitas for their superior care of Amelia.
Predeceasing Amelia were her loving husband Court, her eldest daughter Christiane Grossman, her parents Florence and Peter, her sisters and brothers, Sonya, Helen, Mary, Peter and Michael. She is survived by her daughters, Daryl Urzen, Kathy Lloyd (Steve) and son-in-law Richard Grossman. She is also survived by grandchildren Jason (Carla) and Kirsty Lloyd (Mary), Chandra Urzen (Lisandro), Jana Nakata (Henry) and her newest pride and joys, great granddaughters, Eliza, Sasha and Victoria.
Amelia's wishes were for a private interment with her husband. She did not want anyone to travel distances for her sake. Amelia required little to be happy but a joyful tribute to her would be for those who knew her to keep one happy memory of her in their thoughts.
