Elizabeth (Pat) Priscilla Ryall Donohoe

Pat Donohoe, age 95, passed away April 14,2014 after a brief stay at Forwood Nursing Home. Born in Salisbury, MD to Henry Carroll Ryall and Eunice Porter Ryall, she graduated from Wicomico High School in 1936 then moved to Wilmington to attend Nursing school at Memorial Hospital. After a year as a surgical nurse, she created and managed Central Supply Department for Memorial Hospital for 43 years. She was a forerunner in sterilization of surgical equipment.

Pat is survived by her beloved and dearest friend and partner of 22 years, Al Fleischut, his sons, Bud and Jeff, her step-daughter and husband, Catherine and Lee Dillon, grandchildren, Karen Koyne, John and Brenda Koyne, Kristin and Kevin Joyce, Barbara Dillon, John Dillon and William Appleton. In Salisbury she is survived by her sister-in-law, Charlotte Ryall, niece, Janet Rogers and nephew, Charles Ryall.

Pat lived a full and happy life. Interests and hobbies included golfing, square dancing, traveling with Al, her beloved dogs and parrot, CeCe. She belonged to Newark Senior Center, Cavalier's and Parish of the Resurrection.

Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Henry Ryall, her first husband, Wilber Roe, her second husband, Huck Donohoe, granddaughter, Diane Koyne and grandsons, Rodger Koyne and Frazier Dillon and her nephew Henry Ryall.

Her family extends thanks to the doctors, nurses and aides who helped care for Pat.

Visitation will be held at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Pike Creek from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday April 23rd, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Dr., Skyline Ridge, Wilmington. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
