Jack W. DeHoff
Jack W. DeHoff, 81, of Hockessin, died on July 18, 2013.
He was a graduate from Baltimore Polytech Institute and received his BS of Industrial Engineering in 1952 from Johns Hopkins University. After being honorably discharged from the Army as a 1st Lieutenant, he spent his entire career working for the DuPont Company.
Jack was a member and elder of Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church and was a very avid blood and apheresis donor at the Blood Bank.
He is predeceased by his parents, one sister and wife of 59 years, Jean (Frankland) DeHoff who died on February 26, 2012. Survivors include his sons; John W. DeHoff of Rochester, NY, Paul S. DeHoff and his wife Debra of Luckey, OH, Mark D. DeHoff and his wife Meredith of Wilmington, Gregg A. DeHoff and his wife Laurie of Lutherville, MD and Bryan R. DeHoff of Newark; 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday July 22, at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, Wilmington with burial following in St. Patricks Cemetery, Ashland. Friends may call at CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 500 McKennan's Church Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808.
