Marjorie Scheule Cantwell

Marjorie Scheule Cantwell, age ninety-three, of Woodstown, New Jersey, died on Saturday, March 8, 2014 after a brief illness. Marjorie was the beloved wife, for fifty-nine years, of the late Harold Scheule, and of Edward Cantwell from 2006. She was born to the late Raymond and Helen Frost on February 12, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Marjorie is survived by Edward Cantwell and her three children: Carol Ready and her husband, Bernie of Chelmsford, MA; Steven Scheule and his wife, Peggy of Pilesgrove, NJ; and Douglas Scheule and his wife, Barbara, of Tallmadge, OH. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Duncan and Ian Sutherland, Erin Garrett, Shannon Breen, Scott, Richard, David, Colin and Nathan Scheule and six great-grandchildren.
Marjorie received a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from The Ohio State University in 1943 and a Master of Arts in Library Science from Rowan College of New Jersey in 1992. Marjorie was certified as a public librarian and worked at the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Public Library as a coordinator of library services. She was a faithful member of the Woodstown Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, Marjorie was a football fan, especially of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Ohio State Buckeyes, and she was an avid bridge player. In her younger years she also enjoyed snow skiing, fishing and traveling.
A memorial service in celebration of Marjorie's life will be held at Woodstown Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in her memory to the Woodstown Presbyterian Church.
