Mary Krapf Anderson of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully in her home on August 25th with her children by her side. She was 58 years old. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer
three years ago and was in remission until recently when the cancer returned.
Mary previously lived in Wilmington for a number of years where she raised her family and worked out of St. Francis Hospital as a dialysis nurse. In 1998, she moved to Plano, TX where she continued to work in dialysis. Mary loved Texas and had an amazing group of friends and three beautiful dogs. This past July, she moved to Florida with the intention of enjoying her retirement years ahead.
Mary is survived by her two children, Sally Krapf of Walnut Creek, CA and Danny Krapf of Newark, DE; her sister Nancy Simpson of Belleville, IL and brother Martin Bader of Seattle, WA. Happily, Mary's dogs have all found adopted homes.
There was a celebration of Mary's life held in Plano, TX on September 27th. Memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 3355 26th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34205.
