Mary Mann Mullican, 74, of Dagsboro, DE., passed away 19 March, 2014 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood, DE. Mary was born November 20, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Mann.

She was united in marriage to James R. Mullican, Sr., on January 28th, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland. They were married for 53 years. Mary graduated from Church Home Hospital, School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, in Baltimore, MD. She continued her Nursing career as RN at Church Home Hospital, Baltimore, MD., resident Nurse at Camp Puh'Tok, Monkton, MD., charge Nurse at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home, Buckingham, PA., and Outpatient Surgery Nurse at Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, VA. After retiring to Sussex County, DE., Mary worked part-time at Bethany Primary Care, Bethany Beach, DE.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her friends, her patients and her bichon Molly. She loved cruising with her husband on Holland America ships having enjoyed 21 trips all around the world. She loved to attend estates auctions and shop yard sales looking for collectibles like tea pots, dolls, thimbles' and nautical items.

She is survived by her Husband, James R. Mullican, Sr., of Dagsboro, DE., her children and spouses: Jim (Judy) Kodiak, AK., and Mary Beth Jones (Cliff) Holland, PA; 7 grandchildren, Laura Deemer (Will), Robin Mullican, Valerie Mullican, Shelby Jones, Zachary Jones, Sarah Jones, and Weston Jones; 3 great grandchildren, Reagan Deemer, Maddox Deemer, and Charlotte Deemer; and sister, Dottie Howatt (Robert).

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, where friends may call after 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 DuPont Boulevard, Suite 6, Millsboro, DE., 19966.
