Raymond J. Reynolds died Sunday, February 10 in Wilmington, Delaware at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Emma C. Wines and John Paul Reynolds of Charleston, West Virginia. He received B.S. and B.A. degrees from the University of West Virginia and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University, and had a long career in hospital administration. He was married for 56 years to Martha B. Reiniger, who passed away a few months before him.

Raymond was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity and a lifelong member of the Rotary Club. He enjoyed good wine and collected porcelain birds. He is survived by his daughters Ann R. Fallon and Sarah Jane Reynolds and son-in-law Danny Ertel; grandsons Jason Quinn and Joel Beery and their families; sister Doris Trim and a niece and nephew.

True to his generous spirit and practical nature, Raymond chose to donate his remains in the hope of furthering medical research. Family remembrance will be private.
