Rose Marie Campbell
Age 83, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully at Christiana Hospital on Friday, May 24, 2013 surrounded by her family.
Born in Wilmington, Rose Marie was the daughter of the late Frank and Lena Donofrio, and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. Rose Marie enjoyed attending flea markets and was an avid antique collector. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa A. Qualls, and her brother, Francis Donofrio.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 39 years, William S. Campbell; her daughters, Karen Wilkinson and Jamie Biggs and her husband Jim; and two granddaughters, Rosemarie Wilkinson and Alex Older. Also surviving are her brothers, Maurice and Robert Donofrio, both of Wilmington; her sisters, Louise Zakreski and Florence Flanigan, both of Wilmington; and her son-in-law, Tim Qualls.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Eric Martin and the caring staff of the Helen Graham Cancer Center.
Friends and family are invited to visitation on Thursday, May 30th between 6 and 8 PM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4th Street and Bancroft Parkway, Wilmington. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
